RoboRium.com is a sponsor of the UoP Racing Team, run by students from University of Patras, Greece.
UoP Racing Team is the first Greek Formula Student team located in University of Patras. Founded in 2002, and supported throughout the years by the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation, UoP Racing Team develops, designs and manufactures a racing car that competes at the Formula Student series around the globe, alongside with hundreds of teams from all over the world.
The team has competed in many Formula Student competitions in countries like the United Kingdom, Germany, USA, Italy and the Czech Republic.
- First Greek team to manufacture a FS racecar.
- First Greek team to develop a carbon fiber monocoque chassis for its racecar.
- First team to develop a fully electric powered racecar.
- First and so far only Greek team to get 1st place overall in a FS competition.
Apart from UoP Racing Team, RoboRium also sponsors SRM Team Humanoid, SRM University Chennai and The Marine Robotics Team of K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering.
